BASES thrift store update

Peggy Woodruff, President of the board of BASES, a registered charity will provide updates regarding a charity that our Club supported in its early days.. As a former teacher and small business owner, she came to the BASES Board with a passion for supporting vulnerable children. BASES operates a thrift store now in New Westminster that funds out-of-school and after-school programs for children and youth in Burnaby and New Westminster public schools to support their academic , physical and personal growth. |

Adopt A village in Laos via Zoom

Steve Rutledge, Founder of Adopt A Village in Laos (a Canadian foundation doing amazing work for the rural villagers in Laos) Rotarians from Rotary Clubs in the Lower Mainland have been fortunate to work in teams visiting Laos a number of times to help with water projects and water filter distributions.
