It is with sadness that we share the passing of Jane LePorte. Jane was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Burnaby Deer Lake, a past President (1993-1994), initiated and organized the annual Festival of Lights (which continues to be the club's main fundraiser), instrumental in arranging our breakfast meetings at the Hart House (such a special place to meet), mentored many new Rotarians, hands on with youth exchange and the Dave & Lis Ker Russian scholars, brought energy to the club and so much more. Our thoughts are with Peter and her family.
