Christina Grammenos presents interesting opportunities for helping disadvantaged youth.
On April 15th our club was pleased to host Christina, the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Friendly Landlord Network. This initiative is part of Aunt Leah's Place. Simply put, people with space available in their homes, such as an in-law suite or similar, are paid rent to accommodate a young person who has had problems integrating into society. They connect youth transitioning from care to safe affordable housing. The essential first step in reestablishing oneself into society is stability, and this organization does a remarkable job in fulfilling that requirement.
