Jason Beck

For the past decade Jason has worked as the Curator and Facility Director at the BC Sports Hall of Fame and has written a book published last April by Caitlin Press called The Miracle Mile: Stories of the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.  The book spent two weeks on the BC bestseller list and has been reviewed very favourably by media and experts.  Some background can be found here: http://caitlin-press.com/our-books/miracle-mile-the/  

He will work several Burnaby connections to the Games into his presentation. He includes dozens of archival photos and clips of broadcast footage - which are a highlight.
